Please follow these guidelines to connect as a guest on Toby's live stream, and make sure you find a quiet place to minimize background noise and distractions. You can connect with PC, MAC, or mobile devices on iOS (iPhone) or Android. Your device should be powerful enough to send and receive video in near real-time. Please make sure you are on a reliable network and limit traffic on the network while connected. If you must be on a cell phone network make sure you are stationary, and you are in a good signal area. Following all of these suggestions will help to alleviate any hic-ups in the broadcast.
- For all devices we suggest you first quit all applications and shutdown the device for 10 seconds. After 10 seconds power the device back up and only open the programs necessary to establish the connection (i.e. email program and internet browser).
FOR MAC OR PC
- You will be provided a link, use the link to connect by clicking on or pasting it into FireFox or Chrome web-browsers.
- You will be prompted to allow access to cameras and microphones with in the browser windows. Follow the prompts, add your name and connect.
FOR iOS (iPhone, iPad etc.)
- You will be provided a link, tap on the link to open it.
- You will be prompted to download a free app "Wirecast Go".
- Once you have downloaded and installed Wirecast Go, open the app and go through the initial tutorial steps, THEN CLOSE THE APP.
- Then tap on the link provided again to initiate the connection.
- Follow the prompts, add your name and connect.
FOR ANDROID
- You will be provided a link, tap on the link to open it.
- The link should be opened in chrome browser.
- You will be prompted to allow access to cameras and microphones with in the browser windows. Follow the prompts, add your name and connect.
