While we love going out to dinner and catching a movie, there are many more creative date ideas out there. We may be slightly biased, considering that we run the classes, but one of our favorite ways to spend time with our partners is at a gun range date night at Cape Gun Works. We host weekly date night classes at our 20,000-square-foot facility in Hyannis, Massachusetts. Lovebirds of all experience levels are welcome here: you don't need a firearms license or any previous experience to join in and have the time of your life.

Throughout the class, our experts will be there to guide you. We aim to make this a fun experience for everyone, and a huge part of that is ensuring you're safe. We'll go over the rules for gun safety and our experts will be on hand for extra guidance throughout the class. What to Bring to Date Night at the Shooting Range
At Cape Gun Works, we have gun range date nights down to a science. We'll provide nearly everything you need, including firearms and all the safety gear you could need. Aside from the waiver (which we'll tell you how to sign when you book your date night), there are just a few things you should note.
First of all: CGW isn't the kind of place where you wear your formal clothes. A tuxedo or evening gown would just get in the way. Proper attire for the gun range includes closed-toed shoes (no sandals!) and long pants, just in case hot brass finds its way toward you. Wear comfortable clothing that's easy to move in and easily wash.
