Cape Gun Works Delivers
We Deliver Ammo in Massachusetts! Spend over $399 and Shipping is Free!
Buy online and select standard shipping at checkout. You can also call the store to arrange a delivery in Massachusetts. If your order contains ammo, we deliver it to you in Mass. Non-ammo orders will be shipped with common shipping carriers(I.e. USPS, FedEx, UPS).
Of course, you will still need to come in and see us for firearms transfers.
We are only able to deliver in MA at this time. We will still ship any eligible item anywhere in the United States with our usual shipping carriers(USPS, FedEx, UPS).
Note: You will need to be present at the delivery address, and present your valid Massachusetts LTC to receive ammunition orders. We will contact you with an estimated day for delivery. On the day of delivery we will contact you with an estimated time window for the delivery.
Some customers in more distant areas of Massachusetts may experience delays.
Deliveries to Martha's Vineyard will take place on the first Monday of the month, and to Nantucket on the last Monday of the month. Customers must meet us at the ferry loading area on the island. Home delivery on the Islands is not available currently. Weather and ferry service may affect Island delivery schedules.
Delivery FAQ
What is the cost of deliveries that include ammunition? Standard delivery costs are calculated at checkout. All orders over $399.00 will receive free delivery.
Can orders include ammunition and other items to reach the $399.00 minimum? Yes. Orders can be a mix of items to reach $399.00 minimum.
How will orders that include ammunition be delivered? Orders that include ammo will be delivered by the CGW shipping team.
Will items other than ammunition be delivered? Yes. Orders that do not include ammunition will be delivered through USPS, UPS, and FedEx.
Do I need a valid LTC to have ammunition delivered? Yes. Per Massachusetts state laws, you need a valid Massachusetts License to Carry Firearms to purchase and possess ammunition. You must display your LTC to the delivery team before receiving ammunition. No ammunition will be released without a valid LTC.
Do I need to be present when the order that includes ammunition is delivered? Yes. You or someone you delegate that has a valid LTC must be present to receive the delivery. Ammunition will not be left if a license holder is not present.
Where can I have the order delivered? We will deliver your order to your home or business.
What if I do not have my LTC with me when the delivery that includes ammunition arrives? If you or the person you delegate does not have their LTC with them, any ammunition in the order will be returned to CGW. If this occurs there will be a $15 restocking fee.
How will I know when my delivery which includes ammunition is set to arrive? A member of the shipping team will contact you 1-2 days before to confirm the shipping date and address, and to verify that someone with a valid LTC will be there.
Do you deliver to every place in Massachusetts? No. Some islands and “tough-to-reach” areas of Massachusetts will not be eligible for delivery, again we will ship with a carrier if possible, and only the eligible items will ship.
